![]() ![]() ![]() What does the Employment Data Lab produce? Situated in DWP with access to wide-ranging administrative data, the Employment Data Lab is well placed to address these issues. It is often difficult for individual organisations to assess the impact of their own programmes due to a lack of information or access to a suitable comparison group. Identifying what types of programmes are the most effective is beneficial to DWP, participating organisations, and the wider public. Why is DWP doing this?ĭWP has a core objective of maximising employment, and in-work progression. Any organisation, whether a charity, or in the private or public sectors, who has worked with people to help them into work can contact the Employment Data Lab. This is a service for organisations that help people into, or to progress in work. ![]() The User Organisation will have a chance to comment on the results in the report before it is published online. The results are compiled into a report and shared with the User Organisation. The participant and comparison groups are analysed, and their outcomes compared to estimate the impact of the programme. Where possible, the Data Lab team then creates a comparison group of people with similar characteristics but who did not take part in the programme. This information is then linked to government administrative data and names and addresses are deleted. This will include information such as names, addresses and dates of birth. The User Organisation submits information about the participants of an employment programme. The document covers the end-to-end process with a focus on the data sources and the matching methods used to estimate the impact of employment support programmes. The Methodology Report provides a detailed description of the approach used to produce the Employment Data Lab evaluations. The Employment Data Lab is free and easy to use, with the Employment Data Lab team carrying out analysis on behalf of the User Organisations. The results are then compiled into a report and shared with the User Organisation and published on GOV.UK. Where possible these outcomes are compared to those of a comparison group of similar people who did not take part to estimate the impact of the programme. The Employment Data Lab uses employment and benefits data to evaluate the outcomes of people who have participated in an employment support programme. The purpose is to provide these organisations with information to help them understand the impact of their programmes, and to share these findings publicly so that everyone can learn about what works in helping people into employment. The service is aimed at organisations who work with people to help them into employment. The Employment Data Lab is a service provided by the Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP). ![]()

![]() Keep scrolling to find out more! Why Sending Instagram Voice Messages Can Be Usefulįirst of all what is an Instagram voice message? An Instagram voice message is, in essence, no different than a voice message you would send via your mobile. In this article, we will explore how you can send voice messages via mobile or PC effortlessly using Instagram DMs. With more and more Instagram users communicating via DMs, it only makes sense to try and make that process as seamless as possible. Meanwhile, Apps like WhatsApp, Snapchat, and Telegram are exploding in popularity, so it’s no surprise that Instagram is trying to compete. Of course, Facebook Messenger has had a voice messaging feature for many years, but Instagram has only added it relatively recently. One of the most notable updates, however, is the ability to send voice messages on Instagram. Instagram users can now send multiple pictures and videos, can contact up to 32 people using a single message, engage in video chats, watch videos with friends, and quickly share content with friends in a message. This year, Instagram pledged to focus more on its messaging features after recognizing how important private messaging was to its users. In addition to voice messaging, Instagram has made a series of modifications to its messaging features over the past few years. This represents a huge opportunity for influencers and brands to connect with their followers. After all, Instagram direct messages has over 375 million monthly users and even greater potential, with many more users on the app not yet using messaging. It’s a handy feature that can help you save time and communicate more effectively with the wider social media world. That said, voice messaging on Instagram is undoubtedly useful. Sending voice messages on Instagram is nothing new, especially considering all the other social media apps that have already mastered the art of private messaging features. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We have no bibliographic references for this item. On Windows Server, Hyper-V allocates all memory to virtualized workloads. In addition, the Hyper-V memory management model is different on each system. Hyper-V on Windows Server does not support Quick Create, NAT switches and VM gallery. These features are only supported on Windows Server. Hyper-V on Windows 10 does not support live migration of VMs between hosts, replicas, Virtual Fiber Channel, shared virtual hard disk files (VHDX), and SR-IOV networking. Some features of Hyper-V are different in Windows 10 compared to Windows Server. Automation-Hyper-V does not automate virtual desktop processes such as automatically joining a user to Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).Patching-users and administrators now have to manage multiple operating systems, including patching and maintenance.Hyper-V does not provide network segregation or any firewall capabilities out of the box. The Windows Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is not protected against screen/keyboard capturing or injecting. Security-virtual storage is not encrypted out-of-the-box, meaning that attackers who compromise the host can access the content of any virtual machines.Users have to do this manually, or admins can automate creation of VMs using scripting. Management-there is no central management interface to create and manage Windows 10 virtual machines.Complexity-running Hyper-V requires expertise, and involves advanced tasks like enabling Intel VTx, managing networks and vSwitches, and tuning the resources allocated to each VM (cores, memory, and dynamic memory allocation). In addition, latency-sensitive applications may have issues when running in a virtualized environment. Applications-Applications strongly dependent on specific hardware may not run properly on virtual machines. When planning your Windows 10 virtualized deployment, consider the following limitations of Hyper-V: The processor cache is very fast, virtual machines can access critical data or applications more quickly than from main memory. CPU cache-a large CPU cache is very useful when running virtual environments with heavy workloads. In addition, to optimize I/O between multiple disk drives, RAID should be configured correctly. This requires high performance storage controllers and hard drives. Storage-adequate I/O bandwidth is required to run virtualized workloads without interruption. You must have at least 4 GB of RAM available for the Hyper-V host and the virtual machines running on it (more RAM is required the more VMs you run, or the more intensive your workloads). ![]() You can use the Dynamic Memory feature to resize virtual machine memory automatically. ![]() Memory-to ensure high performance, you need to allocate enough RAM resources for Hyper-V hosts and virtual machines. To use CPU resources efficiently, you need to determine how many virtual processors (processor cores) each virtual machine needs. The main factor in this case is the active operating system. Processor-each virtual machine is assigned up to 240 virtual processors per virtual machine. Here is a list of important hardware considerations related to implementing Hyper-V on computers running Windows 10: Hyper-V is available for 64-bit editions of Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise and Education (not the Home version). It differs from other virtualization solutions like VMware vSphere and VirtualBox, which are Type 2 hypervisors that run on top of an operating system. Hyper-V is a Type 1 hypervisor, which runs directly on physical hardware. This means that all virtual machines typically run on virtual hardware-you can define virtual disks, virtual switches, and other virtual devices and add them to virtual machines. Hyper-V performs hardware virtualization. ![]()

A Minoan wall fresco from room 5 of west House of Akroriri city in the Aegean island Santorin (Thera) is shown in Figure 1 depicting the Nile river and its banks in Egypt. Besides exchanging natural resources, the Minoans also adopted from the surrounding cultures art concepts and tools as evident in Egypt’s influence on the Minoan wall paintings. For example, wood was one of the raw materials that was commercially used and traded to nearby countries such as Egypt, Syria and Cyprus. Egypt received little rainfall, so farmers relied on the Nile to water their crops.Much archaeological evidence suggests that there was contact between ancient Egyptian and Greek civilizations. Farmers plowed and planted seeds in the fields, which were irrigated with ditches and canals. After the flood waters had receded, the growing season lasted from October to February. The flooding season lasted from June to September, depositing on the river's banks the silt for growing crops. The Egyptians recognized three seasons: Akhet (flooding), Peret (planting), and Shemu (harvesting). The ancient Egyptians were thus able to produce an abundance of food, allowing the population to devote more time and resources to cultural, technological, and artistic pursuits. Planting immediately after a flood yielded harvests before the next year's flood. This predictable flooding and fertilization of the soil allowed farmers to dig short canals leading to fields near the Nile, thus providing fresh water for year-round irrigation. As the river receded, it deposited a rich, brown layer of silt that was suitable for growing wheat, beans, barley, or even cotton At the same time each year, the Nile flooded for about six months. A combination of favorable geographical features contributed to the success of ancient Egyptian culture, the most important of which was the rich fertile soil resulting from annual flooding of the Nile River. ![]() ![]() ![]() Therefore, it is important that you know how to take good care of your board shorts in order to enjoy its optimal functionality and promised longevity.
